Kifaru Bedlam – Versatility, Access, and Loadout Efficiency

The Kifaru Bedlam expands on the heritage of the Hoodlum and Hellbender. Bringing together their best elements in a 3–4-day Duplex-compatible pack built for flexibility. Crafted from 500D Ranger Green Cordura with Coyote Brown 4-way stretch Tweave fabric and durable #8 YKK zippers, the Bedlam is made to handle tough conditions and dynamic hunts. With full-zip access and an asymmetrical pocket layout, you get fast, intuitive organization and the ability to grab your gear exactly when you need it.

The left-side spotting scope pocket can accommodate items up to 20” tall, 9” wide, and 4” deep, secured by a single #8 zipper and multiple compression straps. On the right, a reinforced Tweave water bottle pocket fits two 32oz Nalgenes and secures tripods or similar items with an over-pocket strap. The main zip opens 2/3 of the way around the bag. This allows you to load from a stable bucket position and rapidly access contents from the top via reinforced pull loops.

A Hellbender-style front pocket easily stores outer layers, snowshoes, wet items, or a folded chassis rifle. While the ¾” webbing straps allow compression routing around bulky loads or weapon systems. The bottom handle supports carrying bow cams or tools like ice axes, and bottom-mounted K-clip straps are perfect for tents or sleeping pads. Dual hydration exits, an internal bladder sleeve, and a removable Chamber Pocket keep essentials close and hydration dialed.
