Federal Firearm Sales and Licensing
Viking Armament Inc. sells firearms and receivers that are marked with original serial numbers, in
compliance with Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) guidelines. All firearms
and receivers must be shipped to a Licensed Federal Firearms Dealer (FFL) located in the continental
United States for transfer to the purchaser.
Federal law requires that any person engaged in the business of selling firearms must hold a valid
FFL and complete required recordkeeping and checks on Form 4473. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
Age and Background Check Requirements
Under federal law, FFLs may not transfer a handgun to any person under 21 years of age and may not
transfer any firearm to a person under 18 years of age, unless state law imposes a higher age
requirement. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
All firearm purchases from an FFL require completion of ATF Form 4473 and a background check through
the FBI/NICS system before transfer. The revised Form 4473 includes updated instructions and response
requirements that must be adhered to during the sale or transfer process. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
Firearm Export Restrictions
Viking Armament Inc. does not export firearms. We will not participate in the sale or transfer of
any firearm if we have reasonable knowledge that the firearm is intended for export outside the
United States.
