VA MUZZY CHASSIS

Description

The Muzzy chassis is an ultralight, Magnesium, modular chassis designed for the firearms enthusiast or backcountry hunters seeking a compact, ultralight chassis for their muzzle loader. Equipped with a ramrod, ramrod retainer, and “Gary mag,” this system is bound to take your muzzleloader to the next level. The Gary mag holds multiple extra bullets and Primed modules. 

The chassis comes standard as a Rem 700 SA inlet so it can double as a rifle chassis by just swapping barreled actions and the magazine. The only difference from the element 4.0 is the ramrod extrusion and engraving. The standalone chassis, without buttstock or grip, weighs at about 14 oz. When configured with a carbon fiber buttstock and carbon grip the system weight is just about 27 oz. The all-new Muzzy chassis features the same built-in bubble level, and machined in 1.5″ dovetail (Arca-Swiss) in the forend as the Element 4.0 Magnesium.

Machined from AZ61A Magnesium, the Muzzy chassis retains all the strength and durability for which XLR’s rifle chassis systems are known! This is the ultralight, modular chassis platform for the backcountry outdoorsman!
