GENERAL RIFLE
At Viking we build bolt-action rifles that redefine precision. Every General Rifle begins with a full teardown of the action. Our craftsmen meticulously inspect and machine each surface to exacting tolerances, ensuring flawless performance. We then pair the action with a Bartlein steel barrel, expertly chambered for sub ½ MOA accuracy—guaranteed.
Craftsmen entirely build each General Rifle in Colorado or assemble it using components that American partners exclusively source.
American craftsmanship and attention to detail create a bolt-action rifle that lasts and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
The General Rifle also offers an exceptional blend of performance, durability, and value. It features a Mac Bros stainless steel action in your choice of short or long action. We match it with a Bartlein steel barrel in any standard length up to 26″, chambered in your preferred mainstream SA or LA cartridge.
For the chassis, we utilize the rugged yet refined XLR Element 4.0 Aluminum system as well as TR2 components, offering superior modularity and ergonomics for any shooting environment. Feeding is handled by a 3–5 round magazine compatible with the XLR chassis.
In the General Rifle you’ll also find a Trigger Tech Primary trigger, adjustable from 1.5 to 4 pounds, offering a crisp and reliable pull shot after shot. Recoil is tamed with an MB&M 2–5 port muzzle brake, allowing for faster follow-up shots and smoother shooting.
