Purpose-built for the lightweight backcountry rifleman, the AG Privateer offers an ideal blend of strength, performance, and minimal weight. Weighing in at just 25 ounces, this carbon fiber rifle stock delivers unparalleled portability without sacrificing the rugged durability and accuracy AG Composite stocks are known for. Whether you’re packing deep into remote country or building the ultimate ultralight precision platform, the Privateer is an exceptional foundation.

Engineered with precision in every detail, the stock features an internal aluminum block running through the forend—extending from the tip to just ahead of the recoil lug. This adds strength while also allowing you to drill and tap the forend for accessory rails or bipod mounts. The stock is cured at up to 250°F, providing rigidity that stands up to extreme field conditions. The CNC-machined action area and barrel channel ensure a precise drop-in fit, eliminating the need for bedding—many shooters report sub-½ MOA accuracy right out of the box.

With a trim 1.51″ wide forend and a 13.5” length of pull, the Privateer is designed for fast handling and a comfortable shoulder fit. A 1” Pachmayr Decelerator pad reduces felt recoil, while installed aluminum pillars ensure long-term bedding stability. Sling swivels come pre-installed for easy carry configuration. This stock is compatible with Remington 700 and most common Remington clones including Defiance, Stiller, Lone Peak, and Kelbly.
